and I hate it right back.

Okay, so Windows Vista isn't actually all that bad. A few small compatibility twinges, kmplayer won't play sound on DVDs, winamp has a 'program cannot open due to [file] missing error on launch, but it works anyway. The biggest nitpick I have with it is how the save box works. Okay, lets say I make an icon in PSP. I go 'Save-As' and direct it to the folder I want, now all of my icons are named for the fandom, then numbered (firefly001.png). Well before I would just click on a preexisting file, to get that filename on my current icon, then I would change the number to the next sequentially. Well Vista won't let me do that. Once I click on that preexisting file it will only let me save over it, no matter what I type in the filename box. It's getting very annoying having to type out the filenames over and over again.

I'm quite happy with the rest of my computer upgrade though. I'm now running an AMD Anthlon 64 FX-62 Dual Core. I still want a new set of speakers, since my old ones make an o' so lovely crackling noise when you adjust the volume, but that'll have to wait.

I still need to install Office, and I need to re-download most of my screen capping stuff, as I forgot to back up that stuff.

Anyone one my flist know how to get WMM to recognize the new codecs I've installed? I've restarted my computer 3 times since I installed them, and I can play the clips using WMP, but WMM is still only showing AVI Decompresser Ver 6.6.6 (No, I'm not making that up) on the compatibility tab, and the imported clips won't play at all.

According to the About tab I'm using Windows Movie Maker 6.0.6.
